Losing weight after C-section

How I lost 12 Kgs after third c-section     To start it off, I would really like to tell you all that before getting pregnant with my first baby I have been around 41kgs to 45kgs all the time, and yes this is the ideal weight for a very small person like me. Ever since my first pregnancy I had put on a lot of weight. Six months after my first baby, I got pregnant again and this time the weight had almost doubled. After giving birth I tried different methods, exercised, tried to limit my food intake but that disturbed my breastmilk supply, so I just accepted that I have to be overweight the rest of my life, or until my babies are old enough that I can take some time out for myself. My baby number two had just turned 2 years old and exactly when I was thinking to move on and get him off the breastfeed, and make a routine for myself to lose weight, I got to know I was pregnant again.!!!!!! So I totally gave in and thought that mother nature doesn’t want me to be back on m...

One Year Old Baby Routine

One Year Old Baby Routine During Covid-19 Lockdown When I was a mother of only one child, I struggled very hard to set up a routine with my baby, and I always wanted to get to a point where I can follow a certain healthy routine . So now with my third boy growing up fast, I have found my ideal routine set, which can of course go a little here and there with the need of time, but usually this timetable helps me a lot in keeping track and leading a satisfactory daily routine at home. :)     This timetable can also help my lovely working-mommies who cannot figure out how to manage it while they are not going for work during this pandemic and of course the daycare centers are closed. Time Activity 6:30am-7:00am Wake up and breastfeed 7:00am to 8:00am Diaper change/ Get ready/ Bath 8:00am to 8:30am Breakfast 8:30 to 10:30am Activity Time: Reading book Playing with ...

5 Year Old Behaviour Problems

Behavioural issues in 5-year-old child. Your child has turned or will soon be 5 years old, and suddenly you have started to notice strange behavioural problems. Your child gets angry very easily, he doesn’t want to share his toys with siblings, you try to discipline him, but he doesn’t care, or usually wouldn’t listen to what you want him to do. If you are going through such a phase, then you should know that you are not alone. Although every kid is different from the other but trust me almost all parents go through this phase of their child’s life where the kid becomes stubborn, doesn’t want to listen, and gets angry when you discipline them. As a parent, it is understandable that the situation is sometimes very frustrating and saddening, because the once good obedient little baby has now become an angry young man and you cannot figure out how to deal with it. What causes such behaviour? I believe that a kid’s personality is like a blank canvas from the beginning, and ...

My baby doesn’t like me !

My baby doesn’t like me ! As the societies have evolved and increased financial needs many women have to go back to work right after their short maternity leave. It so happens that when you join work again or are away from your child you have to leave your baby with someone else. I have seen women complaining that their baby doesn’t like them, or when they get back home their baby starts being fussy and don’t want to come to them. As a mother, I can understand this situation very well. You have had a human in your womb for around nine months, your little human shared your flesh, blood, thought and body for good long time and that makes you naturally feeling responsible to be there for them all the time. But because your life-needs do not allow you to be an EVERYTIME AVAILABLE mom, you feel guilty. It might seem, that your baby is more comfortable with his daddy, or his grandparent and whenever you try to carry him or feed him he suddenly becomes angry and fussy. You might thi...

My baby won’t eat at all

My baby won’t eat at all!!!!! I was that kind of a mom who would run around the house and follow my son to feed him. There were days that I resorted to Ipad and TV to feed him, so that while he is busy looking at the screen I would feed him spoon by spoon or morsel by morsel not knowing if he was hungry enough. There were also days that I would force feed him out of worry and frustration thinking that if he won’t eat he might get a low blood pressure. Well, if you also have been there then you might want to know what I learnt out of all of this messy period of my life and that I never repeated with my other children. First and foremost , to tackle the situation we must go by the flow. Yes, that is right. GO WITH THE FLOW. If your toddler doesn’t want to eat at all, just let him be. Never force him to eat because all that is going to end up in a big throwing-up situation and leading your child to avoid food even when he is hungry. Secondly, always try to figure out the reas...

How can I calm my newborn

How can I calm my newborn ? It is very usual that new mommies tirelessly struggle with calming the crying newborn baby and at times it is just impossible to figure out what is wrong with the baby. You as a mommy try to figure out by pressing the belly to know if he has a stomach ache, check diapers but they are all dry, try to breastfeed but they won’t take it. It feels like there is something very wrong and you rush to the doctor or atleast give an emergency call to your pedic. When you reach the doctor, the baby has already gone to sleep and the doctor does the regular checkup and tells you everything is fine. But you are in an awe, at what just happened, why did my baby cried for so long and that too so furiously. It happens almost with all the firs timer mommies that they are sometimes unable to figure out the reason behind baby’s crying. I always tell my new-mommy friends that if your newborn is healthy, has not been diagnosed with any illness whatsoever, then there wi...
